VRt.Universal
Universal is a planning service: it builds trips from the source data on orders, performers and transport.
This section collects datasets, each of which solves a single logistics task on a minimal set of data — that makes it easier to see exactly which fields drive the planner behaviour you need.
How to use
Every page follows the same outline:
- When to use — the business situations the scenario applies to.
- Diagram — an illustration of the task (where it helps).
- How to implement — the entities and settings that describe the task in the Universal format.
- Examples — datasets ready to be planned.
You can inspect a dataset via the Show file link, or open it right away in Studio via the Open in Studio link — it is loaded into a new experiment, where you can plan it and make changes.
Start with choosing the optimal delivery warehouse.
Configurations
What exactly to optimize is set by the planning configuration — minimum mileage, minimum number of vehicles, maximum profit. A comparison of the main configurations on the same data is collected in the "Planning configurations" section.
